We have been working for the University of Pretoria since 2017, helping them with their information governance and privacy compliance.

During this time we helped them to:

• develop strategies to improve information governance at the University
• write a series of information governance and privacy-related policies, standards and procedures
• implement the policies through communication campaigns, infographics, webinars, and e-learning
• create manuals to help employees understand their responsibilities

The biggest challenge was the sheer size of the University and to get (and keep) all the stakeholders on the same page. The only way to do that is one conversation at a time.
